Experience the thrill and tradition of Scotland’s ancient athletic heritage as both professional and amateur competitors vie for honors in events such as hammer throwing, stone putting, weight for height and distance, and sheaf and caber tossing. 

The 159th annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games held on Labor Day weekend (Aug. 30-31, 2025) proudly hosted the 2025 Women’s Scottish Heavy Athletics World Championships and the 49th annual U.S. Scottish Heavy Athletics Championships.
