Kilted Mile Race

What is the Kilted Mile Race?

Unique to the Scottish Games in Pleasanton is the Kilted Mile race; the only kilted running event in California. It takes place on the oldest 1-mile horse racing track in the U.S. at 10:00am each Games day in front of the main Grandstand.

Who can enter?

This is a free event open to runners of all ages and abilities - just  as long as they're wearing a kilt!. Prizes are awarded to the first male and female finishers in the over-16 and under-16 ages categories.

How do I register?

Kilted runners can signup at the registration desk under the main Grandstand from 8-9:50am each Games day.
